Eisenhorn (A Warhammer 40,000 Omnibus) Dan Abnett
Publisher:

I think the extreme time-jumps played a part in that. The great majority of this supposed quality comes from a particular writer who consolidated as the main pillar of the whole Black Library, and so of the Warhammer 40k universe in literary form: Dan Abnett. The Ultramarines Omnibus ( Warhammer 40000 Omnibus ) List Price: $15.00 ISBN13: But if you are going to read it you need to read the Eisenhorn omnibus and the Ravenor omnibus . From there, go through the rest of Abnett's stuff, starting with the I started with the Grey Knights omnibus. Essentially, the Omnibus describes the exploits of an Imperial Inquisitor. Ravenor is an omnibus collection of the three books in the “Ravenor” sequence: Ravenor, Ravenor Returned and Ravenor Rogue, set in the Warhammer 40k universe. As far as an introduction into the Warhammer 40,000 universe, I can think of no better. I didn't like the later two books as much as I did the first one. I think the other trilogies mentioned so far are more than adequate, but the Grey Knights omnibus better displays the fanaticism and the touch of magic (i.e. Psykers and psionics) that comes with the Warhammer 40K world. I'm with MikeMc: start with Let the Galaxy Burn, and then get Gaunt's Ghosts - The Founding and Eisenhorn omnibi. The Hat Rack: Warhammer 40,000 I should be conquering the final novel in Sandy Mitchell ;s first Ciaphas Cain omnibus later tonight, and I have only one book left in Graham McNeil ;s Ultramarines omnibus . In the story, Eisenhorn makes "the sign of the eagle" in the same manner as a Catholic makes the sign of the cross. I finished reading the entire Eisenhorn omnibus, which consists of Malleus and Hereticus as well as Xenos , which I already discussed. This is an omnibus, written small, and contains a complete series. It tells the Quality-wise this is compared to Eisenhorn, the first series is still considered the better one but the quality is supposed to be similar and if someone liked the first he should like this too. I recently reread the Eisenhorn omnibus and I have got to say, it is a really cool story. Overall, I think the Eisenhorn novels are a good read, even for those who are not into Warhammer 40K. Needless to say these awesome This novel is a landmark in Black Library's publishings as it was the first 40k novel to go into the lives of ever day citizens in the Imperium and because of that I will do my best to make this one of the richest and most detailed games of Dark Heresy that will ever be played.
